This original artwork is inspired by the turmoil and the ongoing feud between law enforcement and the general public. With a minimalism expression on the surface there seems not much going on. However, underneath lays second piece of artwork complex in its own form. Composed of a circle and triangles these shapes represent puzzles left behind by law enforcement. Some are easier to solve other situations seem to never have a solution. Spray-painted directly onto the wood panel these shapes peak from bullet holes man made by 7.62x39 rounds at a shooting range. A superior caliber round, it's no wonder it won several wars. Shot from an AK47 by the fine painter himself. The accuracy seen within the groupings at a roughly 50 Feet away demonstrate consistent accuracy, no wonder it's hard to own one. The title and blue aerosol paint invoke the observer to imagine their local police officer drawing their standard issued at them eventually abusing their power and using police brutality against the public in order to "gain" control. Huge inspiration also derives from INDICLINE. INDECLINE is an American Activist Collective founded in 2001. It is comprised of graffiti writers, filmmakers, photographers and full-time rebels and activists. INDECLINE focuses on social, ecological and economical injustices carried out by American and International governments, corporations and law enforcement agencies. INDECLINE is NOT an anarchist group just to reiterate. A very personal message from Dotster_; while also shining light on the rough relationship between the general public and law enforcement in South Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Which have led the downfall and breach of the public's safety, eventually breaking their oath to uphold the constitution and governing laws. The tones of the paper cream and grainy which sets the scenery somewhere in South Los Angeles. Where all the walls are buffed with cheap beige and concert streets as far as the eye can see. As Dotster_ describes in his own statement "In the concert jungle located in the belly of the beast. Ten toes down!" sometime in order to survive 7.62x39 NATO is "standard issue" other prefer a smaller round like the 5.56x45 with even more tigher groupings. Just a reminder porcine skin is thick and lardy power is crucial to gain access to vital organs and stop the oppressor. Signed and dated this original artwork ships with a Certificate of Authenticity along with hanging hardware. Its debut 09/21/2024
